Summary: This movie is like if 300 got all the goodness and bad-ass scenes sucked out. Therese something about Tarsem Singh movies that I don't like. He knows how to make a movie look good but at the same time he makes it look too colorful and clean. The visual's effect's in the movie looked faked and the acting is dreadful. I couldn't understand what mickey Rourke was saying in this movie, did he took acting lessons from Stallone or something.
Summary: Theseus (Henry Cavill) is a mortal chosen by Zeus to fight evil. Zeus (Luke Evans), meets with his fellow Gods Athena (Isabel Lucas), Poseidon (Kellan Lutz), Ares (Daniel Sharman), Apollo (Corey Sevier), and Heracles (Steve Byers) to inform them not to interfere with human activities. Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) is in search for a powerful bow. The overloaded characters and screenplay made the story difficult to comprehend and at times dull.
Summary: Haha. What the **** Just simply, what the **** Don't get decieved by the posters ladies and gentlemen. Tarsem Singh's "Immortals" isn't exactly like "300", although it tries to be with it's rich visuals. It can never be like "300" because of the crappiest Greek God script I've seen in YEARS. What kind of ****ing story flushes down characters like **** and adds fight scenes every 5 seconds? Haha.
Excerpt: With the titans locked on their cell, greedy King Hyperion wanted to free them. Gods appointed peasant Theseus to save mankind. He was given legendary Epirus Bow to go up against the King and avenge his mother. *** Honestly speaking, I didn't like this movie, not that I hate it, it's just that few things are well appreciated. While watching this with a friend, we can't focus because of its dull appearance. Why it has always to be at the edge of mountains?
Summary: An interesting story about Greek mythology and the story of Theseus. If you don't expect the movie to follow actual mythology, some facts are definitely wrong, you can really enjoy this movie. Good story, great graphics, and the slow motion fight scenes that were also showcased in the movie 300. The action is great, keeps you entertained throughout the entire movie.
Excerpt: I think I saw a different movie than what most people saw. If you liked 300, you should love this movie. If you like action, you should like this movie. I must preface that I don't know anything about mythology, but I wish I did. This movie may not be accurate, but I don't care. The story: similar to 300, Troy, and to a certain extent, this movie is about the old days.
