Summary: I was very pleased with the dvd. I have another about Bobby, but it was not at all like the real story. I have been to Scotland and seen the statute of Bobby and knew nothing of the story, until my dear Scottish friend told me the story. Thank you.
Summary: A wonderful, heartwarming family movie. We love movies that are based on true stories & have no bad language or scenes in it. This is true to Disney's original standards...not like the newer movies. This one s a keeper.
Summary: This is a wonderful story about the tremendous love a dog has for its master and then in turn the love a community has for that same little dog. It has great lessons on loyalty and faithfulness. What a great movie to share with young people who have yet to see it. The fact that it is based on a true story makes even more compelling. Totally worth the time to watch.
Summary: I first saw this movie when I was about 10 years old. I loved it then and never thought to see it again. I was so surprised when I looked it up on Half.com and saw it at such a cheap price. I just had to have it and I have not been disappointed. It is the kind of movie that Disney use to make, a good story about man and his loyal dog. I highly recommend it if you like stories about animals.
Summary: I loved this movie. I am nearly 60 years old, and I recall my parents taking me to the movies to see Greyfriars Bobby. I was bowled over by the fact that it was available, and on DVD no less. This is a true story about a little Scottish dog named Bobby. Bobby holds the Guinness Book of Records for being the most loyal dog ever known. You will love it, your children will love. I highly recommend it.
Summary: This movie is a 2004 release of a much older movie originally on VHS. This older movie seems much more realistic than the newest version. Hollywood has just lost the ability to make wonderful movies in recent years.
Summary: A very good movie I viewed as a child. I had forgotten how some parts made me so mad. The turning out of the old shepard and meaness towards the dog, but it gets righted in the end in typical Disney style. The only bad quality is it can be long winded at times. It also has some passing of the buck that you might want to talk to children about such as swallowing your pride to help others.
