  • Summary: I'm always up for a little dysfunction, and this film delivered. Finding out awkward family secrets is bad enough, but to learn of them during said family member's funeral is infinitely worse.

Death Has Complications!

  • Excerpt: I’d recommend this film for those who like their comedy a bit on the black side. This is the kind of humor the Brits do so well - intelligent, expertly delivered dialog and action that can make even the most unlikely situations hilarious.

  • Summary: Man. This is just not a good movie. There are a few amusing parts (thank you, Alan Tudyk), but the main conflict of the movie is very immoral, the central characters are grating, and the conclusion is extremely smaltzy.

  • Summary: Come on! Got to give it to the Brits. A touch of Benny Hill humor,a disfunctional family (that most of us have) and some silly lines and moments, this one is surely a hilarious film. Even Oprah found this one to be a "delicious slapstick comedy that will have you dying with laughter!

  • Summary: I loved this comedy! I never thought a funeral could provide a backdrop for such hilarity that was found in this film! The action is directed to so many places, but it's so well directed we never lose track of who the characters are, where they are, and everything flows together so brilliantly.

  • Summary: There are good bits and there are bad bits, but this not-too-bad movie (that's been made extremely soon after the original) has good laughs and likeable characters to make this remake a success in its own right.
