Summary: I recently bought the Zenith DVD/VCR and it was everything I had expeced and more. It arrived within 4-5 days in excellent condition. I was also impressed with the actual manufacturing date of the product as being March of this year. I had thought since the price was so good it may have sat on the shelf for a year or more.
Summary: Although I have only used the product a limited number of times so far, i have been very satisfied.Initially, I encountered some questions since this model does not utilize coaxial cables for connections as my previous Zenith Combination unit did. However, after speaking with customer service reps as identified in the Instructions, hook-up was completed and, as I said, the unit has worked well so far.
Summary: I was surprised at the high quality of this DVD VCR combo at this low price. I particulary liked the features of auto rewind on the VCR and the ability to make VCRs from DVDs in the same unit. I have had absolutely no problems with this fine performer.
Summary: I'd read great reviews for this product. However, because all of today's electronics are made so poorly, cheaply,& not meant to last, I've had especially bad luck with almost everything I've purchased in the last 5 years. Usually I have to make multiple returns. This item is no exception- other than the fact that the outside vendor I purchased it from tells me it is no longer in stock.
Summary: This product did everything we wanted it to do, with the exception of being able to record television shows. Unlike the other review, I was able to find how to eject DVDs and Video Cassettes on the console. I loved that when I turned off a DVD it kept the memory of where it was when I turned it off.
Summary: This refurbished VCR/DVD is not a good buy. After hooking it up, I could not get the DVD door to open to load a DVD. So I tried to insert a tape. The tape went in fine. I hit the play button and the machine started to RECORD!
Summary: I received this unit is excellent condition and in no time at all. The unit is simple to operate and has all the features that you could want (channel skipping, multiple speed fast forward and reverse...still, pause and others). For the money, this was an excellent buy! The unit is like new and had no dents, scratches or other marks on it to indicate that it was refurbished. It was very easy to hook up and the instructon manual was complete and easy to understand.
Summary: This machine does pretty much all I want it to, but there's a little weirdness about it. THERE'S NO EJECT BUTTON ON THE ACTUAL UNIT!! In order to eject a tape or disc, you have to use the remote. God forbid your remote should ever die while there's a beloved tape or disc inside the player. I'm sure of my first gripe, but my second might relate to the satellite feed going into it.
