Will never purchase another Vizio for this reason.

Summary: Purchased this in late 2011 and have never had a firmware update. When I attempt to do it though the player it always gives me an error... when I try to find it on the website, it cannot be located... once, about a year ago, I contacted them for an update CD which they sent... only to find that it was the original firmware and nothing to be updated.
No support of Blu-Ray updates (VBR-210) - original firmware only; never updated and not supported- does not work?

Summary: I contacted the manufacturer and was told that there were no updates for this device from 2010 purchased in Dec.2011 and they no longer support the machine. It never worked as a Blu Ray player. I originally didn't care as I was using the Apps but now that I'm subscribed to Netflix Blu-Ray this is a useless machine. Without support, I vowed to never buy any of their other devices TV's etc as they could pull the same thing! Junk....
OK for the price but don't expect miracles..plays DVD and BR but other features are mostly useless or limited

Summary: Have had this one for about 3 years or more. I have used it for a while when I first got it with Netflix but while it worked....decided there are other options than Netflix. But none of those are available on the VIZIO model I have. Connecting with wireless network was OK although occasionally had to reconnect. Bought through Target for good price and that was the primary reason for choosing it. Have run lots of DVDs..
Summary: As many people have stated, The remote is crap. It has to be point precisely at the player and you have to press the buttons really hard for them to work. Trying to eject is a hit or miss, sometimes it opens right up, other times you can be waiting 2-3 mins for it to open. I own about 30-40 blue rays. About 10 0f them will not play due to a reason I just just learned, which is, new blue rays have different security features to prevent copyrighting.
Summary: It is garbage. If you bought one, give it to your ex. Its so bad even Vizio doesn't support it. Last firmware update is moldy. Wont play rental BRays. Junk. Will never buy from Vizio and any affliated company again.
Summary: I can only express great dissatisfaction with the VBR210 Blu-ray Player. We have owned it barely two years, with limited use (estimate 2x/month on average) by adults. It hasn't been moved around or jostled and yet, the other day, the DVD failed to eject. We followed the instructions and were able to eject it with the white lever below. Tried to insert and play DVD, but it would not play and again, failed to eject normally.
Summary: This was my first and only bluray player I've ever had. I've had this for about two years. I've never had any problems playing DVDs and for a long time never had trouble playing bluray discs. The bluray player occasionally has trouble connecting to the wifi and has had this problem for the entire time. I've used it with three different wifi locations as I've moved around a bit.
Summary: This player could be good.. but has issues. first is that the controls are slow and unresponsive at times. There is no firmware updates available and the worst is that it will not play some Blu Ray disks/Movies.. I just tried playing the Hunger Games, it will not play. Called Vizio support and they are aware of this and other movies that will not play. The Rep told me that there are no plans on updating the player so these movies will play.. I am don with Vizio products.
Summary: Do not waste your money on this bluray player. I ignored the bad reviews on it and I am now stuck with a $133.00 defective item at home. Whatever you do, do not order this product from seller lowcarblivingusa, he/she is a complete liar!!!
Summary: I have been using this blu-ray player for about 8 months. Here are my Pros and Cons PROS + Has read all Blu-Ray discs I have thrown at it (my Samsung and Philips BR players have not been as successful) + Netflix, Vudu, and Pandora work great + Like the option to play music, pictures, and videos off a usb device + Wireless N adapter included + Came with HDMI cable CONS - Not as slow loading BR discs as my 2 other BR players, but still annoyingly slow - Remote control...
