Will never purchase another Vizio for this reason.

Summary: Purchased this in late 2011 and have never had a firmware update. When I attempt to do it though the player it always gives me an error... when I try to find it on the website, it cannot be located... once, about a year ago, I contacted them for an update CD which they sent...
No support of Blu-Ray updates (VBR-210) - original firmware only; never updated and not supported- does not work?

Summary: I contacted the manufacturer and was told that there were no updates for this device from 2010 purchased in Dec.2011 and they no longer support the machine. It never worked as a Blu Ray player.
OK for the price but don't expect miracles..plays DVD and BR but other features are mostly useless or limited

Summary: Have had this one for about 3 years or more. I have used it for a while when I first got it with Netflix but while it worked....decided there are other options than Netflix. But none of those are available on the VIZIO model I have.
Summary: As many people have stated, The remote is crap. It has to be point precisely at the player and you have to press the buttons really hard for them to work. Trying to eject is a hit or miss, sometimes it opens right up, other times you can be waiting 2-3 mins for it to open.
Summary: It is garbage. If you bought one, give it to your ex. Its so bad even Vizio doesn't support it. Last firmware update is moldy. Wont play rental BRays. Junk. Will never buy from Vizio and any affliated company again.
Summary: I can only express great dissatisfaction with the VBR210 Blu-ray Player. We have owned it barely two years, with limited use (estimate 2x/month on average) by adults. It hasn't been moved around or jostled and yet, the other day, the DVD failed to eject.
Summary: Slow. Boots so slowly that the lights on the front don't even change for a couple seconds, so sometimes you will think you missed and will press it again. Not very responsive does not mix well with touch. (which is what the front of the player is. they are not physical buttons.
Summary: For what it can do (play DVDs and older blu ray discs) it does fine. The people at VIZIO however, in their infinite wisdom, were too stupid to make a player with hardware that could be upgraded. So, per their own tech support, there are no firmware upgrades being made for the player.
Summary: I bought this bluray player and had great success initially. The buttons are hard to push on the remote and there's a terrible delay when making selections. The Wi-Fi connection is unpredictable (with the router next to it).
Summary: It worked well (if slowly) for about a year of infrequent use, then while streaming the picture would become unviewable with strange color striations. After that it stopped playing blu-ray discs, although it would still play DVDs.
