Good For A Little One's Room Where They Won't Be Pressing Too Many Buttons

Summary: We purchased this inexpensive DVD player for our toddler's room, to play her favorite cartoon DVDs on. This product plays DVDs well, but don't expect a quick response from the remote or any of the buttons you press directly on the hardware. I usually have to press a button hard or twice to get it to respond. Also, the player itself is loud, as you can hear the internal mechanisms working.
Summary: I expected better from Sony--even though this was an inexpensive DVD player. Right out of the box, the first one I bought kept automatically opening after I tried closing it. Also, the top 3 buttons (eject, play, and stop) didn't work at all. So I took it back to the store and exchanged it. The second one worked but only for a few months, after which the disc holder kept getting stuck and I had to pry it open with my fingers and shove it closed manually.
Good, cheap player, could use a couple more buttons

Summary: What can I say about a 36 dollar DVD player - it works just fine, no issues there. This is the second one of these I've purchased, both are working well. My only wish is for track advance and rewind buttons on the unit itself. For 36 bucks I can't really complain though! Other than that I would 100% love it.
Summary: I don't have an intense home theatre experience - I'm just a regular person who likes to watch the occasional DVD on my old TV (which is not even flat-screen). Most of the negative reviews here are from people who are trying to watch non-US DVDs or who have specific audio visual requirements - I can't answer those. But if you're just a regular person looking for an inexpensive player, ours works great (no skipping), responds well to the remote, and is easy to use.
Summary: I like this product because the buttons and controls are easier to see and use for low vision users. Electronic companies need to start paying attention to the low vision market and stop going smaller scale. This is reasonably priced with controls at the top corner which is easily found by all. It's also great for easy push button movements to help with arthritis sufferers like me.
Excerpt: All of the buttons work very smoothly, actually all of the DVD player functions work very smooth and this is very good considering a lot of new DVD players are not as good as they claim. I give this DVD player a 10 for the way it works and I give this DVD player a 10 for features because the features are awesome and I also give this DVD player a perfect 10 for price because for the $40 that I paid for this DVD player I was very impressed with the way this DVD player...
Summary: I purchased this item for my 10 year old niece for her birthday and she loves it! Thw set up was so simple that she was able to set it up herself without any assistance and it plays very well. Very user friendly for someone who may not be that familiar with setting up electronic devices.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Consistent Performance, Easy To Setup, Easy To Use
