  • Summary: I am very pleased with our purchase of the Samsung DVD-VR375-R DVD+VHS Combo. The DVD-VHS player is a great way to transfer home vidoes from VHS to DVD. It is so easy. One touch and the player does the rest. We do have a Samsung LCD TV which makes the whole process work perfectly.

  • Summary: This is a good DVD/VCR recorder which records either onto DVD or VHS. The only downside is the imput limitation from your Cable Box or SAT. It does not offer S-Video input, nor allow Component inputs (only out ) . So you have no choice but to connect from your box to the unit by using an RCA jack.

  • Summary: I have owned this model for one and a half years. The first one broke down and was replaced under warranty. The second one failed and the company would not replace it. After much discussion I was given a factory refurbished model. It has now failed. When it works, it is a good machine.

  • Summary: I would highly recommend this recorder. It was very easy to set up, makes excellent copies, and has a number of input/output options. It doesn't have an S-Video input, but the picture quality on HQ record mode seems to be quite good anyway.
  • Pros: Easy setup, great menu navigation, numerous recording options
  • Cons: Hard to label chapters, slight delay with record feature, no S-Video input
