  • Summary: If you're in the market for a DVD/VHS combo recorder look no further than VR-357 from Samsung. It's affordable, looks slick, and records to virtually all DVD formats including dual-layer and DVD-RAM.
  • Pros: Records to DVD and VHS formats (including DVD-RAM and +/-R DL). Nice design; supports AnyNET feature. No problems with DVD or VHS playback. Supports HDMI!
  • Cons: Might be hard to find these days.
