  • Summary: DO NOT BUY......
  • Pros: None, except that New Egg was wonderful about taking it back.I deal with a lot of online store,s , New Egg is the one store that is truly hassle free.No one can be faster on their shipping....
  • Cons: This DVD,player was suppose to play photo cd,s it did not.In fact ,I was just going to just give it to the church for the children to play little DVD,s on during Sunday school rather then go to the hassle of sending it back .But the picture quality was so terrible...I just sent it back....Mary

Dissapointed

  • Summary: After trying it out myself then reading the forums I realized that this product is not ready for prime time, and is not worth the cost. It plays Blu Ray discs... but none of it's other advertised features. Very disappointed in Samsung.
  • Pros: It plays DVDs and BluRay. Looks cool. Simple interface, I think even my retardd parents can figure it out, I bought it for them. Connects to Pandora, that is awesome and the sound quality is also very good. Comes with a USB wifi adapter...
  • Cons: None of the advanced features work, or they are very difficult to get to work. I am glad this one isn't for me. It is super hard to connect to wifi, you cannot have any spaces in your SSID. I was disappointed

Nathaniel F., Newegg

  • Summary: Seems like a big step down from earlier Samsung players I've had which all had DivX support. If all you want is a very basic DVD player that plays loudly and has a tiny, stupid little remote control then you might like this. But personally I'll be looking for something from Philips.
  • Pros: Nice looking compact player. Shows longer filenames than earlier Samsung models.
  • Cons: Lame little remote. Plays loudly. Doesn't play DivX/Xvid/etc. I have some discrepancies in specs, where some sites said that it would play DivX, and others gave no mention. Also some sites incorrectly say that this player has USB input. No such feature.
