What do they mean change the source??

when setting up to record a program in one of the field it ask for a source which gives opitions AV1, AV2 and TV TUNER. I select tuner and confirm record. I get a mssage saying I need to change my source, but the other two don't work. What do I need to do to to get this to record right?

unit will not turn on

My unit will not turn on. The Hello screen scrolls across the front of it but no matter what I tried I can not get it to turn on. I unplugged the unit and let it sit. I also held in the power button for the 10 seconds like the manual tells you and the Hello stops and the time comes on but as soon as I touch the power button the Hello screen comes back on and the unit will not work at all!!!!!!!!
