  • Summary: I needed a VHS player that would play a bunch of old VHS tapes without problems so I could go through my old tapes and discard what wasn't important. This unit has a DVD player and some recording capabilities, but I did not use those features. I bought this only because I had read reviews on various sites that it was a reliable VHS player. It was, and I am completely satisfied with it for what I used it for.

  • Summary: This product worked well, was easy to set up and best of all it was shipped free right to my door. I love that; I found it on line, ordered and was given the option to have it shipped free to my home, and best of all did not have to use my credit card on line but was given the option to pay in my local Walmart store using a purchase number generated by my order. The product came quicker than estimated and we set it up easily.

  • Summary: Overall I am satisfied. However, I rated this product only "fair" for "Meets Expectations". I have a brand new Samsung TV. I could not hook up this DVD player to my TV without a special set of cables that was NOT included. The owner's manual stated these cables were not included, but no mention on the outside box. So there I was, in my living room trying to set everything up, only to find out I need to purchase an additional set of cables.

  • Summary: I Bought this to save my old VHS tapes to DVD. The will not do that......Note : It says DVD/VHS not DVR! Believe it or not it will convert DVD to VHS tapes.....Now who wants to do that? Thank Goodness I read the manual before I unpacked everything and hooked it up. When I returned it to Walmart, they couldn't believe that the thing only turned DVDs unto VHS, and not turn VHS into DVDs until they saw it for themselves.

  • Summary: If you normally plug your VCR or DVD directly into your TV, this is not the unit for you. It is the tuner inside of a DVD/VCR unit that allows you to get the signal directly from your cable line and then connect your DVD/VCR to your TV. This unit has NO TUNER, which means the only way you're going to get a signal is if you have a cable box that normally attaches to your TV. The cable box actually has the tuner.

  • Summary: Everything I have used on the product, UP TO DATE, has met my expectations. Unit was specifically bought to be able to view library of VHS tapes. Have a blu-ray player so that part of the unit was just duplicated but for the price, it was still worth it.

  • Summary: I bought this to replace a vcr/dvd recorder that I used to record direct TV programs. Nowhere in the review did it mention that this product did not have a tuner. Did not meet my needs so I took it back to the store (where I found out it was cheaper than online), and I ended up paying shipping charges for a product I can't use and don't have.
