Summary: I bought one of these recorders and we could never get it to work. It wouldn't even play movies and every time you turned the power on it would just sound like it was trying to spin. The recording feature on this never worked either. It was too late for me to try and send it back by the time we gave up. Don't buy one of these, they are a total waste of money. Overstock was good in the shipping time and charges.
Summary: I recieved my recorder quickly from Overstock, it arrived in good condition. My major problem is, I did not recieve an instruction manual, a warrenty, or a working phone number for support. After all this time I am still unable to record and barley able to watch a DVD movie from netflix. Not very Happy!!!
Summary: I bought this product over a year ago and when I initially installed it, it would not record. When I called Phillips for Customer Support they wanted to charge me for product support. I could not find the receipt for the product and Phillips would not accept my Credit Card statement as proof of purchase. SInce I did not have a receipt they wanted to charge me to chat with them about trouble shooting the product.
Summary: If you are looking to edit your recordings,this product is bad,after I worked 2 0r 3 hours recordind and editing what I want at the end when the closing of disc comes,very often the screen shows UNKNOWN DATA and out of 8 times I was able to recovered it only once,and the answer from manufactoring company was that after 2 years that I have this product is time to buy a new one
Summary: It took me a few hours to figure out how to use this system and I'm still not sure I have it totally figured out. The instructions are the worst instructions I have ever seen, other than those written in a different language! The instructions say to do x, y and then z and when I did it, what i wanted to happen didn't happen. I usually had to mess around and try different things to get done when x, y and z should have worked!
Summary: Bonsoir, En possession de cet appareil, reçu à un concours , il y a 2 ans, je n'arrive pas à effectuer un enregistrement depuis, le message d'erreur est perpétuel. .Malgré mes différentes demandes chez Philipps, il m'envoie une copîe des pages du manuel, jamais de réponse individuelle, et de plus, il faut un temps indéfinisable avant de recevoir une réponse informatisée.
Summary: Philips, parlons-en....... J'avais Boycotté Philips depuis presque 50 ans suite à des déboires constant dans ma jeunesse. Je n'avais pas beaucoup d'argent de poche, il me fallait beaucoup de temps pour pouvoir acheter l'appareil de mes rêves. Le premier a été un électrophone qui après de nombreuses pannes successives a été remplacé par un "Teppaz", beaucoup moins onéreux et beaucoup plus fiable.
Cons: Toujours en panne, mauvaise qualité des composants
