Pros: progressive scan is solid on this machine and the picture quality is crystal clear and suberb. The blue lcd always dazzles me!! The menu is fantastic offers lots of features that other dvd players seem to lack.

Pros: Solid all-around. If you're using a 4:3 tv with this player, video compression feature on the tv is a must to maximize the picture quality. Straightforward setup. I use it with an Onkyo TX-SR501 receiver, sound is excellent. CDs sound very good as well. V

Cons: The remote isn't the nicest looking thing and its a bit oddly shaped. Don't touch the depth enhancer, but DO turn on the AV enhancer AND make sure you finetune your picture setting on your HDTV.
