Excerpt: I usually play a lot of DVDs that are burned and in the past I have had issues playing them on other DVD players but I have not had any issues with this thing. It supports DVDRW, DVD-R, SVCD and VCD discs just to name a few. There was a remote included with it which is always wonderful. The remote is very flat and it’s also not very long so it fits into the hand perfectly. I would highly recommend it to anybody that’s in the market for a DVD player .
Summary: For seniors used to components from many years ago and of many years' use, this was a replacement for and old failed item that was simple to connect and use. NOW IF ONLY THEY MADE AN INEXPENSIVE VCR TAPE PLAYER TO CONNECT TOOUR ANCIENT TELEVISION SET!
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Consistent Performance, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use
Summary: after five years my panasonic s27 dvd/cd player konked out. i bought this panasonic s38 as a replacement. interesting how the vcr i bought at the same time is still kicking. all of my units tv, vcr and dvd/cd are all panasonic. i could've bought a dvd recorder, but am not ready for that yet as i still have loads of vhs and still tape programs on my vcr. this unit is more compact than the s27, but everything else is still the same.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Consistent Performance, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, High Quality Picture
Summary: This unit works just as advertised, excellent picture/sound quality and plays DVDs that I couldn't get to work in my old one, or on my computer. Very easy setup. One downer keeps it as a 4 star: Keeps turning on sub titles when turned on,have to keep turning them off but that's something I can live with . Recommend as a good buy.
Summary: I really think that this dvd player was great for the price and don't look cheap . i had several ppl. ask how much i paid an also thought it was good for the money and was deleivery very fast . would order from them again if i feel the need to needed anything.
