Excerpt: I ordered this item and was promised delivery within 48 hours on the 30th of December 2008. As promised the item got here on that date at 9.15 prompt in the morning and it was well packaged and i set it up later that night. It does exactly what it says on the tin and it does a very good job as well-so far it has only missed one recording schedule I had made but I think that one was my fault!!!
Excerpt: I have had this machine for a few days now and have so far found it to be very good. I purchased this unit to replace a now aging LG dvd recorder which had refused to play or record on any discs apart from RW discs(very odd). Anyway I decided to get a new recorder and this time thought I may as well get one with a hard disc as well.
Excerpt: I BOUGHT THE UNIT ON THE FEEDBACK WHICH WAS LEFT AT AMAZON AND I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL. IVE ALWAYS BOUGHT PANASONIC FOR THE QUALITY IT GIVES. THE DMR 78EB-K IS BRILLIANT AT ALL THE FUNCTIONS. HARD DRIVE IS ALMOST SILENT ,NOT LIKE OTHERS I COULD NAME. ONE TOUCH SERIES LINK IS EASY TO USE. PICTURE QUALITY GREAT. LOADS OF RECORDING SPACE ON THE HARD DRIVE. WELL DONE AMAZON FOR A GREAT PRICE AND FREE DELIVERY.
Excerpt: Panasonic may not be the cheapest DVD recorder, but I feel that it is worth the little extra that it may cost as it has extra functions and a very good tuner in it. We get a better picture when recorded and played back than we do on our TV. Highly recomended.
Excerpt: Wow. This is really good. Rather an involved manual but, once youve had time to sit through and work it all out, it becomes quite clear. Its extremely easy to use and recording is SO easy and very quick to do. Playback is good and, quite honestly, I think it would be difficult to make mistakes in recording as you can see everything you do on screen.
Excerpt: Great box, this one. I toyed with the idea of Sky+, but decided Freeview was fine for me. Went with the EX78 after reading a number of reviews comparing it with other Pannies around the same price - and, for the price, this one was great. Ive a Panny TV so it seemed a natural choice. It works seamlessly with it - the Viera link works great. The only reservation Ive got about it is the advert that appears by the TV guide.
Excerpt: Having spent a lot of time reading reviews and comments I opted for this model and it has been superb. I wish I had bought one earlier, the ability to copy and watch what you want when you want is great. I choose this over the Sony 250GB (my father has this) as I like the flexibility of the DVD-Ram capability, apart from that pretty much the same. Plus I want to purchase a Panasonic TV in near future and I wanted same manufacturer compatibility.
