Summary: The product is fine, but the how to connect directions are not good. I had a cable box and tv to connect and I had to get out the directions for an older dvd/vcr player I had bought last year to figure out how to set it up. I set up all our electronics in our home, so this was not my first time setting up equipment. The directions are not complete nor do they include all the cables you may need.
Summary: I bought 2 of these units for guest rooms. Both dvd's stopped playing withing 4 months. The vhs still works in both units. It will cost more to have it repaired than they are worth, as the warranty is worthless unless a problem develops within 90 days. Mine managed to work about 120 days and died. Scares me to think how long they would have lasted if they were put in a den or family room! Buyer BEWARE!
Summary: this was for my daughters room. The dvd player doesn't work and gets stuck and i have scratched a couple of dvds trying to get them out.I bought the 2 year warranty and have only had the thing for 3 months and have returned it 4 times for a new one, it is not worth the money you will pay for it, pay the extra money and hopefully you won't get stuck with this piece of junk.
Summary: This VCR/DVD combo not worth the money. Wanted to record, found out I could not do that unless I buy other parts. Wanted to tape a TV show, stations 1 - 29 can't be received, then wanted to view tapes I recorded from TV. Looks like the tracking is having a nervous breakdown. No matter what I do it won't track right. All I can do is view DVD's on this unit. If the VCR won't play VCR's what good is it?
