The Jvc Dvd Recorder/VHS Player is a good buy!

  • Excerpt: We just purchased this item last week at our local HHgregg under the amount of $200.00.  I think we got a very good price since other places have it over $220.00 or more.  My husband loves the dvd recorder.  He loves to record his shows that he can not watch since he is at work.  The recorder also has a vcr to play your real old tapes that you might still have lying around the house.

  • Excerpt: I finally got around to switching brands on my vcr, dvd combo and went with Phillips, now I don't know what I would do without this gadget. This is one of the most used items I have in my household, I can set that up to record 16 different programs, I can set it to record my soap opera daily, any show you want once a week, set it and forget it. I have made countless cartoon specials for the kids. Their favorite cartoons on dvd.

  • Excerpt: I love the fact that you can record on VCR or DVD. I transferred my camcorder tapes of my kids and grandchildren to DVD. I'm still learning all the functions, but so far I'm thrilled.  I would never go back to just a VHS or DVD player.  I love my DVD recorder/ VCR combo!

  • Excerpt: Copying your old VHS tapes to DVD couldn't be easier. Quick and easy setup and one button copying. It also has a fine up converting DVD player so regular letterbox tapes you transfer or the store bought movies play in super high quality almost as good as BluRay. It works quietly so I often just...

  • Summary: This machine is awsome, I'm thinking of buying another one and turning in my rented DVR in to my cable provider. I hooked it up and ran throught the auto channel setup and it found all the basic cable channels as well as all of my local area broadcasted HD channels. I transferred a vhs movie to DVD the other day and after I closed the Disc it worked on all my other players so read the manual. JVC did a nice job on this one.

Awesome product

Walmart

  • Summary: Have not put this to the full test as yet but what I have so far is just great - a true upgrade from dvd recorders of previous years. Initializing tapes is simplified, finalizing to play in other recorders has been simplified. Dubbing was easy, as was one touch recording. Going to try timed recording today - don't hesitate to buy this recorder. JVC has made a great product. I am satisfied (so far) with my purchase.
