Summary: I bought this player in Feb 2007 for under $30, hoping it would last me a few DVDs before I found something of higher quality. It's going to be 4 years soon and it still works like a charm. PROS Decent rogressive-scan 480p picture Decent sound An array of options seen in more expensive models All options can be worked from the remote Compact size (very important as it can fit right under most LCD TVs) CONS Remote control wears out relatively quickly, so you have to press...
Summary: If you come across this model, note that there are two versions: one made for the international marketplace and one for US-only (though both have been distributed in the US). You want the international version: Be certain the box says the unit is capable of both NTSC and PAL output. This will assure that you can play international disks from all regions.
Summary: I brought three of these. one hardly worked straight out the box. only one remote doesnt work. two of the three dvd players just stop working. one minute u are watching a dvd and when you take it out to change it the next disc or the same one for that matter comes up "bad disc" i have only had them for about two and a half months. I am so disappointed. so now i will have to buy a new dvd player. It is really sad that they were only made in may of 2007.
Summary: I bought 2 of these DVD players. They were put in one position on top of the TV or on a shelf and never moved. One only worked with the remote from the very beginning. None of the buttons on the device worked. Within 2 weeks the other didn't work at all. Not with the remote, and none of the buttons worked. What a piece of JUNK!!!!
