Summary: MINE, MINE, MINE...good luck finding yours anywhere. This Denon DVD unit plays discontinued SACD medium, discontinued DVD-Audio medium, discontinued HDCD medium and has a HDMI up-conversion output to boot. It has a six channel output for receiver/preamp units with six channel input.
Summary: I already have a good Blu-Ray player but wanted something that could handle the various audio formats: SACD, HDCD, and DVD-A. This old component is as good as an Oppo BDP-93 I own for my Home Theatre. Audio quality out of the box is on par with the Oppo.

Summary: I've had one of these players for several years. Like many people, I have a pretty large collection of DVDs and an HDTV. I also don't want to pay a lot of money for Blu-Ray movies. The nice thing about this player is that it upscales DVDs to 1080i, so the picture is better than out of a standard DVD...
Summary: Denon DVD-2910 is a nice dvd player. Images are bright, detailed and colors pretty natural. Film sound is more than acceptable but when moving to 2 channels (CD or SACD) quality is not as good as I hoped. SACD sound is pretty poor when compared with multiformat cd players or dedicated sacd players.
Summary: Features are EXCELLENT!.. However customer service DOES NOT EXIST!!.. The display went out on my 6 months after i bought.. sent it off to denon.. Took 6 months to get it back.. I called multiple times and could not get an answer..
Summary: I upgraded to get the best DVD player money could buy (under $1000 of course). One of the reasons I bought this was the ability to play other region DVDs with a little work and that it had HDMI output.
