Summary: I remember playing this a long time ago and absolutely loving it. It stayed true to the original Yoshi's Island for SNES, but with better mechanics and portability. Everyone who owns a DS or 3DS needs to play this game because of just how fun it is. I recommend to any type of gamer, whether they're young and new to gaming or older and are hardcore gamers. Definitely worth it.
Summary: I have been a fan of Yoshi's Island back when I played it on the Super Nintendo and my nostalgic love for this game never waned a bit! Playing it again on the DS was epic for me and I put away hours of gameplay and still do with this title. A must have for any Mario fan, and a must try for any gamer looking for both a challenge and an adventure!

Summary: I bought this game for my nephews birthday but when he tried to use it in his 3DS the game would not work. Tried it in another 3DS and it didn't work - problem is, this game is not compatible with the 3DS ONLY DS. I purchased it specifically because I knew the DS games he has works with his 3DS so I assumed that ALL DS games works with the 3DS. I contacted the seller, The Game Store 13 in APRIL, almost a month now and to date I have not heard from the seller.
Summary: Now, i've been a Nintendo fan since forever, a game fan in general since forever and Yoshi's Island was one of my favorites from the original to the remake on the gba ( added bonus levels were a nice touch). When Yoshi's Island DS was announced, i leaped with glee in response, after all , it was finally a new Yoshi's Island! Artoon, the developer has a strange history of games, but i gave them benefit of the doubt because of the initial presentation of the game.
nothing like the first yoshi's island, but a quality attempt

Summary: First let's mention the not so pleasant news- Yoshi's Island DS is unfortunately nowhere near as good as the original Super NES Yoshi's Island. THAT game is now considered a legendary game in Nintendo's long and rich history of gaming spanning over 30 years (and rightfully so). The good news? What made the original Yoshi's Island so memorable is *almost* up to par in this DS version.
Summary: I bought this game after I bought Yoshi's New Island and I actually like this one better! It has graphics similar to the original and having the different baby aspect makes the game last longer as well as adds something new to a classic. The levels can be pretty tricky to achieve a perfect score on and get the baby coin. It's a must have for lovers of the original Yoshi's Island!!
