X-Men Destiny

Family Friendly Gaming
20 July 2014
  • Excerpt: Video games have a certain shelf life. Stores need to sell off older games to make room on the shelves for newer games. X-Men Destiny was at a rock bottom price at a retail store. I was not expecting much out of this hand held video game. I knew it could become a review in the greatest video game e-magazine of all time for families.

X-Men Destiny

Auracore MediaWorks
1 November 2011
  • Summary: This destiny is already pre-written for you
  • Pros: Three separate takes on becoming a mutant; fast-paced action; decent soundtrack; picking powers really determines gameplay style; impressive number of X-Genes to collect to augment characters and powers.
  • Cons: No depth to dialogue with other established mutant; this game gives off a faulty illusion of choice; no real depth to combat.

X-Men Destiny Review (DS)

GameZone
14 October 2011
  • Excerpt: In hindsight, I kind of feel sorry for the console version of X-Men Destiny .  I personally think the game is pretty good, considering it goes in a completely different direction than most games, and though the combat is repetitive, there’s some sort of purpose behind it.  However, that game’s going to get buried next week when the superior Batman: Arkham City comes out, where only a few comic book fans will break away to follow the exploits of those young kids.

X-Men Destiny Review

GameZone
29 September 2011
  • Excerpt: If you're a child of the 16-bit era, the concept of an X-Men video game most likely conjures up memories of old-school action platformers. Go a bit later, and the X-Men represent characters in a Capcom fighting game, or for an unlucky few, simply another soulless, licensed cash-in of a bygone era. The X-Men have had good times and bad times alike in the video game world.  So, where does X-Men Destiny stand? Destiny is a brawler with light RPG elements.

X-Men: Destiny Review

Nintendo-Online
2 October 2013

X-Men Destiny

nintendo-lan.de
1 November 2011
