Excerpt: Some of my fondest childhood memories come from playing Wiffle Ball with my family. Wiffle Ball was my introduction to the basics of baseball, and one that has stayed with me for decades. So when I received Wiffle Ball on the Nintendo DS from DSI Games I had mixed emotions. I have some rather high standards for the family fun sport of Wiffle Ball, and was intrigued by the idea of a video game based on the sport.

It’s like the gap between a game of professional baseball and a
two-person game of Wiffle Ball, except instead of the better thing
being the height of its field, replace professional baseball with “an
