Just like on TV

NormalNobody "Sundancr12", Amazon
24 August 2011
  • Summary: This item puts you right in the hot seat. It mimics the old Millionaire TV game with Regis, not the new one with Meredith Vearra. What I didn't like is that if you lose, the whole game is over. In the old millionaire game, you used to be able to just continue.

The timer function ruins this game

S. F. Russell, Amazon
17 January 2011
  • Summary: I'm sorry, but 15 seconds is NOT enough time to even read the entire question and the 4 possible answers. For those speed readers, maybe okay, but for the rest of us, there should be some way to adjust the timer. NOT a good feature!

  • Summary: I didn't find this game very exciting and with the voice over from Chris Tarrant didn't make it any better

Good game... for half an hour...

Mouth Almighty, Amazon
9 April 2008
  • Summary: This game simply does not have enough depth to it. It is what it is. Just like on TV with 50/50, "phone a frend" and "ask the audience" but its quickly boring. Some of the questions are quite difficult and I dont consider myself to be a stupid person!!

Could do better...

Linda B, Amazon
9 April 2008
  • Summary: I purchased this game based on the first review placed here but was sadly disappointed, the game is repetative and did not come up to expectations, the questions are repeated endlessly and the game lacks simple touches such as recording your highest score or signing in as a player.

Disappointed

Josephine "Jose", Amazon
9 April 2008
  • Summary: I normally love this game, however they have made a slip up with the Nintendo DS version. Although the format, workings of the game and graphics are good, the same questions appear time and time again which means playing the game is very little challenge.

A bit disappointing!

Lady Precious "Nikkie", Amazon
9 April 2008
  • Summary: The two player mode of this game is really disappointing. Sound is bad as already mentioned. I played a few games and then sold it on - not like me at all.

Infuriating

Nick C, Amazon
9 April 2008
  • Summary: The format of the game is fine, but it constantly highlights the wrong choice having used the stylus to select another answer and effectively loses you the game. Damned annoying!

Short shelf life

NDSrod, Play.com
9 April 2008
  • Conclusion: Even though this game is now only around a tenner I would not recommend it. Having played it around five times you begin to see the same questions over and over again. Who wants to be a millionaire is a good game format but this version could have done with a much larger bank of questions to improve...
