Summary: I purchased this a year and half ago for my then 7 yr old niece, who loves dogs. It's an okay toy, but to be honest she doesn't really use the dog, she just plays the game that came with it. I was recently not to happy about that fact that I paid 50. for this, and I just saw it for 9.99. I guess such is the way of video games, over priced and hot for a minute, the dead, cold and cheap the next.
Summary: First off - Child must be able to read to play this game. My child is only 6 so I have to read all the instructions to her. Not fun for me and she gets tired of asking me. It does respond well to the game via the wireless connection. This is a neat toy but in our life it gets old quick.
Summary: Length:: 1:08 Mins Well, it is not often that we actually read the little booklet that comes with Nintendo DS games but in this case we carefully scanned the pages. We were trying to figure out how you teach Wappy to move around and play. It turns out Wappy can "Sit!" really well. Wappy does not move from point A to point B. Wappy can make a lot of different sounds. Wappy lights up in different ways. Wappy can turn his/her head.
Summary: When I first saw this product, I have to say I was quite excited. An interactive robotic toy that worked with a Nintendo DS seemed like it would be an awesome toy for the children, so I jumped on the opportunity to obtain one. The children used to test the product in my house are 3 girls aged 8, 6, and 4. I gave the robot to the children and waited a few months.
Summary: OK... Maybe I was expecting a little more from Wappy. Wappy barks, sits, stands and whines. Kind of annoying... Not exactly my idea of long term entertainment except for maybe a child 5 years or younger. My granddaughter is 8 and after a while she was pretty much bored. Takes 3 AA batteries which are not included. There are 6 mini games for home mode and 5 mini games for travel mode. The games are also limited and the technical aspects are almost too simple and plain.
Summary: What is included Wappy Dog DSi Cartridge The Dog It has some limited functionality: It barks, sits, stands and whines. Not exactly my idea of long term entertainment except for maybe a child 7 years or younger. My daughter is 11 and she was pretty much unimpressed with it. Batteries were not included, which is a minus if you intend to give a toy like this as a gift. I recommend that you buy batteries (3 AA) to give with this system.
Summary: This is a DS game that is most definitely for the younger crowd. I purchased this for my son's DSi. He's six. My daughter is three and a half. It's definitely a huge hit with my preschool daughter, not so much with my son. Wappy has some surprising quirks about him that lumps him into the annoying toy category. He howls if you leave him on and unattended too long. And when he howls, he sounds just like a crying preschool child I know. It's disconcerting.

Summary: Wappy Dog with Interactive Toy for Nintendo DS is a cute game with an adorable little robot-like puppy. If you are expecting a remote control dog, you have it wrong. Wappy is, I feel, actually an add-on to the Nintendo DS game itself. The game without the dog is great fun and young kids will enjoy it. Wappy is cute and does add to the game in that way but older children may soon tire of it. The puppy can sit, stretch, and make noises and all but doesn't walk around.
