I'm Walking on...Sunshine? (In Britain?!)

  • Excerpt: I'm quite the addict of physical exercise, and take any opportunity to move around. Now I don't mind the odd game odd game of tennis or badminton, but aside from yoga, my favourite form of fitness 'routines' is walking; it's simple, it's variable and it's very enjoyable! Now I have quite a few Nintendo DS games which are targeted at weight loss and exercisae, and when I saw the 'Walk with Me' game, I simply had to have it!
  • Pros: length of play, features, fun, motivating
  • Cons: A little pricey .  .  .

  • Excerpt: After getting sick and tired of me moaning about my weight my boyfriend brought me this for Christmas 2009 and I have worn it everyday since. He brought it from Game for £29.99 Whats in the box.... In the box you get 2 pedometers and the ds game. The pedometers come so you can either just put them in your pocket or can attach a clip to the back and wear them on your trousers.
  • Pros: Small enough to be discreet, can compete with others
  • Cons: Does not show number of steps taken have to upload data to ds first

  • Excerpt: My partner brought this for me Christmas 2009 and I absolutley love it. In the box you get 2 pedometers and the ds game. The pedometers come so you can either just put them in your pocket or can attach a clip to the pack and wear them on your trousers. You wear your pedometer each day and it counts your steps taken. It comes with 2 so you are able to play with friends or family and you can buy extra pedometers and have up to four players at one time.

  • Excerpt: Walk with me is a pedometer "game" for the ds. The pack contains the game cartridge, instructions, 2 peodmeters - one white, one black and 2 peodmeter belt clip holders. The pedometers are a similar size to a memory card and have a slot where you can attach them to an lanyard (advisable if you lose things as easily as I do!) In the game you use a mii you can either download it from the wii (very cool to watch it landing) or create your own on the ds.

  • Excerpt: this high piece of tech called walk with me is the perfect piece of kit for any walker, as you can probably see on the picture you get two pedometers that you attach to yourself and just walk like normal you can then connect them up with your nintendo DS and it tells you exactly how many steps youve done.

Walk With Me DS - Activity Tracker for those that enjoy a walk.

nli10, Ciao
24 October 2009
  • Excerpt: Having bought this on launch my Girlfriend and I have now hit the 1.5 MILLION steps combined milestone and I feel happy to review this exercise tracker. The first and most important thing to realise is that this is neither a game, nor is it something that is designed for weight loss or fitness. It just encourages people who walk to walk more often and further.
  • Pros: Will last as long as you keep walking, lots of statistics tracking and modes to earn steps for
  • Cons: Not a game, not going to get non walkers to walk, great value for money but expensive

  • Conclusion: this is perfect if you have ever wondered like me how active you are throughout the day all you have to do is activate this when you recieve it pop the activity monitor on when you wake up and go about your life as normal then before bed you simply sync it with your ds to see how you progressed through the day like when you have been most active and the longest time you were least active helped me realise how unactive i am its perfect for those who have wii fit and...

  • Conclusion: i received my copy of this game on the morning of release and i wish i had a dog to strap 1 of the pedometers included onto.it makes you want to walk that bit further than normal just so you can see the green light at the end of the day when you connect it (wirelessly) to your ds and get your results.also this is the 1st ds game that you can use your wii mii in.5 stars.
