Walk with me! Do you know your walking routine? is a simulation game published by Nintendo for the DS and advocates walking as an form of exercise. Walk with me! Gets players in tune with their personal walking regime, and has features that allow them to compare it with friends, family or a pet, and see how they fare compared to walkers across the globe. The lifestyle software designed for the Nintendo DS comes with two designed pedometers called Activity Meters which measure daily steps minute by minute.

Features

Walk with me! Do you know your walking routine? features an Activity Meter which fits into a bag or pocket as players walk and measures activity through the day. Players can set daily walking targets with a basic setting of 3,000 steps which can be increased each day to suit activity levels. The data is collected and stored on the Activity Meter for up to seven days and can be transferred to the Nintendo DS to allow players to track their progress. By pointing the Activity Meter at the Nintendo DS like a TV remote control and clicking the button on the meter, data is sent by infrared signal. This allows players to compare their activity with other members. Walk with me! also features mini-games such as Light Up – which converts the combined activity of a player as well as friends and family into virtual electrical power, which is then measured to see how much light the accumulated steps would generate; Walk the world that allows users to take a virtual trip round the world and unlocking different landmarks all over the globe; Rankings - up to four different people can use their own Activity Meter in conjunction with a single Game Card, allowing everyone to compare results and engage in a bit of friendly competition; and Space journey – which combines step data with others around the globe via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to see how far one’s total steps would take if a stroll around the Solar System was done. Walk With Me! lets users represent themselves with a Mii caricature. Walk With Me! also features ability to players to fit themselves in a range of walking attire such as hiking gear, leggings or a classic tracksuit. The game also lets players represent their canine chums with a selection of Mii-style dogs so that they can keep track of their pet’s activity levels.
