Summary: I've had this game for awhile now and I still love it. I bought it because I loved playing Word Roundup on the computer and then my sister gave me a Word Roundup puzzle book. You may never do a traditional word find again after doing a Word Roundup puzzle! I do enjoy playing Quick Cross and Up & Down words, although sometimes I really get stuck on Up & Down Words and have to use the hints. The game I least enjoy is Hidato.
Summary: This game has enough variety to keep you playing for a long time. The kind of game that's good to play anywhere, from a waiting room to when you are just relaxing. Not so easy that you'll get bored, not so hard that you'll get frustrated. All the controls seem to work very well once you get used to them. If you enjoy puzzles, I would definitely recommend this game.
Summary: "Chain Reaction" from the GSN Cable Channel, is a favorite of mine. I have looked for applications for this game and there are none. In this set from USA Today for the Nintendo DS, "Puzzle Craze", I found one that is very similar called "Up and Down Words". It is a little harder to play than the TV game, but I enjoy it the same. If I cannot complete a puzzle I can always use the Start button to get a pull-down menu with an option to have it solved.
Summary: I'm glad I bought this game. A good varity of puzzles. Before buying it I worried because it had Hidato and I didn't know how to play it but the instructions in this game are perfect and I have even been able to master that game as well as the others. I enjoy the challenge of all the games . Word roundup, Quick cross, and Up and Down Words are refreshing twists on some great word games.
