Summary: seeing as how this game is on the DS I didn't expect the graphics to blow my mind yet I was still somewhat dissapointed. The computer AI is simply the worst I have ever seen. of the 3 or 4 difficulties that you can choose from not one of them seems to be an "Easy" mode. The computer player will often stand still for sometimes ten seconds or/and then just dominate. The puzzle mode is somewhat redeeming yet is too difficult.
Summary: This is mortal kombat remade again has all the original character everything you wanted from the game. It is a perfect port and also come with puzzle kombat which is a pretty boring game and we doubt you will ever play it. However the remake of mortal kombat 3 is perfect, the 2D graphics are still the same and the game has all the fatalities and main move list for you character on the top screen as you fight, really really useful stuff.
Pros: god fast mortal kombat action with blood
Cons: could have improved a lil graphics, but its nice and retro
The best beat em up game makes an appearance on the NDS

Summary: I used to spend hours on the Amiga, and then later on the Super Nintendo playing Mortal Kombat (MK). Whilst most raved about Street Fighter I always thought that MK was where it was at. The characters were better, there was blood when you hit your opponent and the finishing moves ("fatalities") were brilliant.
Pros: Fast, frantic, all the 'old' characters are there, great finshing moves - As a ebat em up should be
Cons: Computer controlled opponent gets too hard and ruins it
Conclusion: I am a huge Mortal Kombat fan, i have completed almost every single Mortal Kombat game (still working on Armageddon). This is an almost exact remake of the Ultimate Mortal Kombat that was on almost every console of the era. Where the first game was good, and this is a decent rendition, it has to put up with some out-dated aspects.
