Summary: Do you remember the original Mortal Kombat? Well here it is. It was ok. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're collecting Mortal Kombat games. It shows it's age. There's better free games on Google Play.
Summary: My son was really into Mortal Combat and wanted this game. We got it and he loves it but thinks its a little too hard. We delved a little deeper and read a lot of reviews where players said the same thing - it's too hard.
Summary: Mortal Kombat had a strong start in the early-to-mid 90s, and died in the same decade before being revived in the 2000s with Deadly Alliance and its sequels. This game was a clear response from Midway to their fanbase as a type of apology for the game "Mortal Kombat Advance", a port of the SNES version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3... actually port is a misleading term.
Summary: At first glance, Ultimate Mortal Kombat is an arcade-perfect port of the original game. But as with most handheld fighters, it reveals itself to only be a visual achievement and a technological anomaly. What sets UMK apart from other DS fighters is that instead of onscreen buttons that activate your character's special moves, the touch screen provides a very specific command list for that character.
Summary: Mortal kombat on the ds is one of the few M rated video games on the DS. The Game it self is very good, the controlls are smooth and very responsive. lets starts with the pros of this game. the game is very nostalgic. tons of replay value, hundreds of combos and moves to explore. Over 30 secrets in the game. Online is very nice, Download play online.
Summary: OLD SCHOOL SEGA GENESIS THROWBACK VERSION. VERY DIFFICULT. I BOUGHT THIS GAME FOR MY 5 YEAR OLD NEPHEW AND I COULNDT STOP HIM FROM ASKING ME FOR HELP. UP TO THIS DAY I STILL HAVENT BEAT THE TOURNEMANT LADDER, I DONT THINK ITS EVEN POSSIBLE.
Summary: seeing as how this game is on the DS I didn't expect the graphics to blow my mind yet I was still somewhat dissapointed. The computer AI is simply the worst I have ever seen. of the 3 or 4 difficulties that you can choose from not one of them seems to be an "Easy" mode. The computer player will often stand still for sometimes ten seconds or/and then just dominate. The puzzle mode is somewhat redeeming yet is too difficult.
Conclusion: I am a huge Mortal Kombat fan, i have completed almost every single Mortal Kombat game (still working on Armageddon). This is an almost exact remake of the Ultimate Mortal Kombat that was on almost every console of the era. Where the first game was good, and this is a decent rendition, it has to put up with some out-dated aspects.
Conclusion: Mortal kombat for the ds is quite good - and the puzzle kombat is a great extra game, however there is a problem the programmers messed up and you cant actually get past the first true boss montaro, however good you are! There is some hidden charactors for you to unlock which is fun and the link games are great to play with friends, i would love to complete this game, but it is impossible. Not bad, few bugs.
