Summary: When it comes to golf games on the DS, you unfortunately aren't going to find any great ones. Your three best options are Tiger 05, Tiger 08 and True Swing Golf. As an owner of all three, I can tell you that True Swing Golf is the best game out of the three in terms of gameplay, mechanics, graphics, and physics. But it has its fair share of issues. During standard gameplay, True Swing Golf is pretty good.
Summary: This game is really fun, great use of the touch screen and you can also do the DS download play and play against friends. The one major flaw is you HAVE to use your created player, there are no replacements. It also takes a while to earn new items to give your player because a shirt costs $100 and you win 20 if you get 3rd place. Other than that its a great game, I recommend it to anyone that likes golf. Summary: I definitely love some of the greatest challenges in sports video games. Well it might be all worth its money, there are times to where the game isn't worth the dollars it has been made out to be. FOr golf games, they've been mostly no acception. Although there have been highly successful editions like Mario Golf for the Nintendo Gamecube, that hasn't been chipped in with other games like Tiger Woods PGA Tour.
Summary: Perhaps the dullest game of virtual golf I've ever played. The characters are bland, the courses are bland, the graphics are poor. The only good thing about this game is hitting the ball with the stylus using the touch screen - a great idea. But the game is so boring, you'll be snoring before you finish 18 holes.
