  • Excerpt: The DS has two golf games: EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour that was released near the launch of the system, and True Swing Golf, published by Nintendo about a year later. Although Tiger Woods PGA Tour showed potential for golf games on the DS, True Swing Golf worked everything from the ground up rather than follow Tiger's system. Was the result a total bomb, or a game to be enjoyed by golf fans everywhere? Read on to find out.

Mario Golf is what sticks out most in my mind, from the GBC version to the GBA version. I have been eagerly awaiting a DS version of this classic game but there has been no talk of it being in development.

  • Conclusion: However, while the gameplay is excellent, the graphics are butt-ugly. This is where Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 wins-out unfortunately. While certainly clean for the most part, there are times where you can see muddy textures and blocky looking trees and local environments. On the plus side though, it does run on a solid framerate and it certainly looks better than a lot of other 3D titles hitting the DS market.
