Summary: TrackMania Turbo is TrackMania's DS (and Wii) port, one of the only console ports, and this, for the system it's on, is pretty amazing I'll explain the different categories reviewers usually use: Graphics: Obviously, the game's on DS, so the graphics won't be as impressive,as the PC version, but they actually seem to use United's graphics but they're noticeably more pixilated and blocky but at the same time are still nice for a DS game.
Summary: My 13 year old son received this for Christmas. He absolutely loved it. Can't really give any specifics as I haven't actually played the game just know that he really loves playing it and was thanking me for it long after Christmas.
Summary: I love this game. I played the last of the DS downloads.Downloaded it from GameStop store And kept it in my DS for 1 month. Playing it over & over. I found it at a Wal-Mart for [...]. The best price. Now I'm a better driver in real life, but in this world I really suck. I drive at top speeds, but yet learned how to stop diving off the ramp, hitting rocks, metal pipes, falling off the high suspended racing tracks. I love the techno- music.
Summary: Many times it is hard to quantify why a game is addictive and fun. This is true with Trackmania DS. If you like ANY racing games, you will love this one. It is not flashy or complicated, just great racing on a extremely wide variety of tracks. I love this game.
Summary: My boys (all four) loved the track creation mode. Racing against them on their tracks from my DS Lite was ultra-cool. This game sparks their creativity and they test the limits of the car physics by building hills, tunnels, etc.
Conclusion: I love this game. It's different from Mario Kart and other racers but a good different. You don't exactly race you just try to get the best time but that is what makes it so addictive. If your 1 second slow, you will go back and try and beat yourself again and again. Also there is a track editor which is great. Highly recommened.
