Summary: I absolutely hate this item! "Why?" you might be asking the monitor at the moment, well, for one reason and one reason only; It's a great game, I bought it for my son just because he's been rather decent this week. Now, he won't put it down. He's currently stuck on a boss and constantly keeps trying to obliterate it. I took away his DS for a night and the next morning I caught him hard at work trying to take down the very same boss.
Summary: I really wanted to like this when I decided to order it and in the beginning it was living up to expectations but after playing for awhile I just could not get past the fact that all you do is button mash and really only do one or two melee hits for the whole game. The boss fights are the saving grace but those are really at the end of the level and are not frequent enough.

Summary: I bought this seeing as my 3DS collection only consisted of Shin Megami Tensei IV, Fire Emblem, and Shinobi. While I love Strategy/JRPGs and harder ninja based hack and slash games I grew up brawlers too from Double Dragon to Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle. Thor plays like Streets of Rage with hints of Revenge of Shinobi and the modern Ninja Gaidens. Of course it is the Marvel version not factual Norse, but that doesn't stop it from being a good game.
