User Review

Mom2Only1Son, Walmart

  • Summary: We bought this for our 8 year old to go with his new Nintendo 3D DS gaming system (first ever) that we gave him this Christmas. We thought it would be a nice change of pace from the average "video game" that we knew he would be using the DS for. The rating system for these games is the ESRB system - which rates this game, "E for Everyone" which is great in the respect that there is nothing "offensive" in the game, but I think it may be too challenging a game for most 8...

Great alternative to Brain Age games

Puzzler, Amazon
29 March 2011
  • Summary: I've played this game daily now for about a week. I think the selection of puzzle types is great. As you progress thru the game (over time), the degree of difficulty is ramped up and the "think quotient" that you can earn is higher. For example, if you do well on the number pyramids the first few times you play that puzzle type, you'll soon find that the pyramids you are given get larger and there are more intermediate numbers you have to deduce before getting to the...

Great for students!

CamKat , GameStop
20 January 2011
  • Summary: Think Smart is an educational game that is designed to not only promote but to encourage people to develop critical thinking skills and to utilize them in their daily life. The three levels encourage the gamer to continue/implement a daily practice routine and to become proficient at each given level. I recommend this game for gamers looking to improve specific skill sets such as analogies, math skills, logic or puzzle solving skills to name a few.

disappointed

  • Summary: I got this game for my 15 year old daughter, since she is really into the brain age games, and she got very frustrated, as did I when she had me try it, because there seems to be no logic whatsoever to the game, and it has wrong answers to the problems!

New To the DS but thought this was a great brain game

Greenie, Amazon
16 November 2010
  • Summary: The person who said this was a waste of money and the instructions were not clear, is dead wrong. This gives step by step instructions on how to solve the problems. There are a really great variety of brain teasers in 6 different categories. Only thing is I wish there were degrees of difficulty to choose from as some things are easy for me and some are hard. Overall this is a great game that works out your brain.

a rip-off

Amazon Customer, Amazon
18 July 2010
  • Summary: This game is a complete waste of money and does not live up to its description. The instructions about how to play each game are very brief, and they are not helpful in understanding how to solve the puzzles. Some of the correct answers are counted as wrong, too. I wish I could give negative stars to this game, or zero stars at the least. Do not waste your money on this one. At least GameStop has their trade-in program, so this game goes to them.

Fun, challenging puzzle game

dysLexieK "Deb", Amazon
10 November 2009
  • Summary: OK, first off, this is NOT an RPG game, yea, I thought it was! duhh! lol, It's a timed, puzzle type game! You have to get thru each level within a certain amount of time and acheive 3 different goals! When I first spotted this game while browsing thru Amazon, a friend said to me, that looks stupid, thinking it was an RPG type game. Well, I can tell you, it is NOT stupid, it is actually quite difficult.
