Summary: I have been a big fan of the Simpsons for a long time and even though I see many people thought this game was really bad, I actually quite enjoyed it! I thought this game was great for just casually playing with ease and although it was over quickly, I did replay it a few times and attempted at getting 100% within the game. The age rating is 12 plus for this game, which is fair, as many of The Simspons fans tend to be around this age.
Excerpt: "The Simpsons game isn't a game I would have personally bought for myself I have to admit. It's not that I specifically dislike the Simpsons, it's just that I have never been that enamoured with them that I would actually cough up my hard owned dough to buy a video game centred around them! Harry Potter yes, the Simpsons no. On the other hand because I'd lent my brother's girlfriend Harry Potter Lego DS she in turn lent me this, which turned out to ...
Summary: I have always been a huge fan of the Simpsons and the television series is just stupid at times and yet funny so I keep going back. They did a film recently and it was pretty good and obviously after a big film you get some games which come out to help promote both the film and the series as well. This game on the Nintendo DS however is not that fantastic.
Summary: It is traditional for video games based on films or TV shows to be rubbish. They are often rushed out to strict deadlines and it often shows as important things like storyline, graphics and - most importantly - gameplay lack polish and finesse...or in some cases lack anything good in any way at all!!! The Simpons, whilst being a smash hit animation series for many years, has a somewhat poor history when it comes to video games!
Pros: Entertaining for children, good graphics and sound
Great game, but too short. And beware false ads!!!

Summary: I have this game for the DS, and it's NOTHING like the trailers! After playing I can tell you the trailers are clearly for the console versions, not the portable. For starters, the game is a 2D side scroller with some 3D elements, not full 3D. Also, there are several scenes in those trailers that are NOT in the DS version. I am sorely disappointed with that. This DS game is a very basic, watered down version of the game I saw commercials for.
Summary: This game is great if you are a fan of the Simpsons or if you are a fan of fun platform games. Basically, you get to play as different members of the Simpson family as you have to complete scenarios around Springfield. Homer enters an eating contest, Lisa must shut down the tree cutting factory and Bart has to stop the bullies. The different family members all have 'special' powers.
Summary: The Simpsons Game I started playing this game yesterday when I was off work sick. It was quite fun, pretty easy, and very fast to finish. I was playing it for about an hour, and I am nearly at the end of completing it. It is basically a platform game, but with some of the comedy from the TV show added in. The characters that I have played with so far are Bart, Homer and Lisa. Bart turns into the Bartman and can kind of fly with his cape, well more glide.
Pros: Fun and easy to complete
Cons: Easy to complete and not much of a storyline
Summary: For the first part of this game, you need to move homer around a chocolate infested land. Its quite funny as his character is very similar to that of the tv show. A great feature of the game is that inbetween levels, there is a new animated simpsons short film, giving you more laughter and new footage that you wont have seen on the tv.
Pros: great graphics and funny game like the tv show
Cons: annoying moving more than one character around
