GamesRadar

  • Pros: Quick, non-commital gaming, Visual style that demands your attention, Outlandish ideas and nonstop innuendo
  • Cons: Rehashed minigames do not a sequel make, A few unbalanced tasks, plus some relying on luck, Might make singles rush out looking for some quick love

The Rub Rabbits!

Portable Review
13 February 2006
  • Excerpt: We all know the Nintendo DS’s launch was less than spectacular, but Feel the Magic: XY/XX stood out from the crowd with a unique graphic style, and even more unique gameplay. However, some thought Feel the Magic lacked substance said it felt rushed. The story is nearly the same as the original, but there’s more of a twist this time around. The unnamed protagonist of this story falls in love with a girl (again at first sight!) and wants to court her.

The Rub Rabbits!

Project COE
9 February 2006
  • Conclusion: Still, The Rub Rabbits manages to improve upon the content of the game even if the Story Mode falls a little short. Some mini-games are available that allow multiple players on one DS system with “Hullabaloo,” a button pressing game, and “Baby Making Mode” where two players must cooperate to cut a wedding cake and make a baby. There are also six multiplayer games that only require one game card to play with.

Official Nintendo Magazine
4 February 2007
  • Excerpt: Courtroom whodunnits, imaginary dogs, surgery simulators... the DS is a magnet for the oddest game ideas. So perhaps we shouldn't be surprised to flip open the twin screens and find ourselves helping silhouetted figures in pastel clothing fall head-over-heels in love to the strains of the cancan song. Again.

  • Excerpt: Love is in the air...avec Rub Rabbits !

The Rub Rabbits!

JeuxVideo.fr
19 December 2006
