It's a decent game but much different than I expected

Summary: I bought this for my 6 year old son. Naturally, I play through the games I buy him to make sure there are no inappropriate surprises. Overall, this game is enjoyable. My only complaint is that the wagon is pretty tricky to steer. I had a difficult time as an adult and my son really struggles to keep in under control. I would still recommend this game. It has fun facts and the hunting is my son's favorite part.
Summary: To start with I went through the game once (didn't make it to the end on time). Which was okay because it's a learning experince. I have been playing this game since the very first version. This is an enjoyable, difficult at times (especially driving the wagon through obsticals which is a new feature for the most part), hours of fun kind of game. If they made this game to easy I would had not liked it so much to the point I would had sold it.
Summary: I always loved Oregon Trail growing up and I was very happy to see it get released to the 3DS. It definitely has some new features added to the story. My daughters are a little young for it now and don't quite have the patience for this game. An older child or adult would probably enjoy it.
It's actually a lot of fun to drive your own wagon

Summary: First I was concerned about this game because the screen shots online looked so ugly. But I had to try it anyways and am glad I did. I must say I only played this game in 2D, since i cannot tolerate the 3D. The graphics of this game are not mind blowing but they suit the atmosphere of the Oregon Trail just fine, no complaints there. I love to whip my oxen to make them go faster.
Summary: As soon as I saw this I had to get it- I loved playing and watching my sister play Oregon Trail on our computer as kids. This version is essentially the same as the old PC version. The differences though: driving that wagon and there's a story other than "get to Oregon with as many people alive as you can".
