Summary: I've played quite a few mystery solving games (including American and Japanese games)and according to its 4-star rating, I thought I'd give a shot. It was far off from what I was expecting. My teenage daughter didn't even finished the first chapter as it was too boring. I'm not usually that critical about this type of game, but I have to admit that I was very disappoointed and I would not recommend this to anyone. I wouldn't buy it even for that price.
Summary: This was a fast moving game that keeps you engaged form the first to last moment. If you are a person that has enjoyed the Nancy Drew PC (or other system games) you will also enjoy this game. The hardy boys are hot on the trail and through a number of clever challenges and puzzles, you put the Hardy Boys to the test.
Summary: Bought this game for my son... he was excited when we first got it, but the more he played, the more his disliked the game. He finally made it past the bomb, and the game never loaded any further. Overall big diasppointment that he could not complete the game.
Summary: I brought this game and hope to love it.....however, I am now stuck on the puzzle with the bomb found on the railroad tracks. I have tried everything but to no avail. If anyone knows how I can get past this point, please let me know......
Summary: I bought this game to fill my time until another Professor Layton game comes out. The game is an OK substitute - it has various mini-games to solve, and an entertaining enough story. However, it is not anywhere near as good as the Professor Layton series. The puzzles are not nearly as challenging, but in some cases that is a good thing. It is a good game to relax with or take your mind off your other problems, as it will entertain you but not be overly taxing mentally.
Summary: This was a fun & fast moving game & does a good job at using the touch screen option. Even though there is mixing fact with fiction, a player still gets to learn a little bit of history without feeling like they are being given a history lesson.
Summary: After having played one of the Nancy Drew games for DS and being very disappointed I did not have high hopes for this game. I was pleasantly surprised! This game isn't too easy and it's not to hard. It has a great hint function that comes in handy sometimes. The game and puzzles are actually logical, unlike some adventure games. It has a great story, great graphics, fun puzzles, and is very enjoyable. I am not done with the game but I love it.
Summary: This game had very VIVID images and the stories taking you through the game were very compelling. The game can be picked up and played for 30 minutes at a time or played for longer periods - the save option was a great asset. The interaction of switching between the characters and the awsome scenery definetely added to the play . Will play this again!
