Summary: I do like Tetris Party Deluxe and it is definitely addictive. I particularly like the other variations that are included in the game, such as trying to get the little man to the top without squashing him! However, I'm not a massive fan of the normal Tetris version. Bizarrely, it keeps the DS screen horizontal, which means that the playing area is pretty tiny. This is because it is using the buttons rather than the stylus.
Summary: Bought this for my 12 year old daughter who says "It's good , it's fun but you can get bored with it easily. It can be frustrating because it's addictive and if you can't get it right the first time you have to keep doing it until you get it right. It's OK to keep someone occupied for five minutes. Not the best game ever.
Summary: Having played tetris on line for some time I found this somewhat dissapointing as the button for moving tetris pieces from side to side are so sensetive and it is difficult sometimes to slot a piece in place as it goes flying across the screen at a rate of knots! The pieces also turn anti clockwise instead of clockwise as it does on line and that takes getting used to although that's obviously not a defect.
Summary: I've been playing tetris for years and thought it was about time I upgraded from my original game boy cartridge. Unfortunately some of the game has left me disapointed. When playing marathon, after you reach level 8 or 9 the tetriminos drop so fast you really only have to to position them OR rotate them, not both.
