  • Excerpt: This may be my shortest review ever. Lollipop Chainsaw . It’s a game about an 18 year old, top-heavy cheerleader in a short skirt that carries a chainsaw and slays zombies. 10! No, 11! If I didn’t have a small amount of integrity, I could leave it at that because Lollipop was quite possibly the most entertaining game I’ve played all year. And I’m thankful I didn’t listen to any of the other critics, otherwise I never would have picked this one up.

Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys

Auracore MediaWorks

  • Summary: If these were Teenage Mutant Ninja Zombies we'd really be on to something.
  • Pros: Attractive graphics with solid animation; genuinely funny writing; some interesting gameplay concepts; loads of minigames.
  • Cons: Slow paced gameplay; combat is weak; overly violent and gory for the target audience; too easy and short.

Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys! review (DS)

HonestGamers
6 May 2008
  • Excerpt: Finnigan "Fins" Magee was born a normal man. He spent his youth in the water, dedicating his time to a local swim team. Though he longer walks the earth as a living man, he does walk the earth – albeit with tentacles sticking out of his back.

NDS Review - 'Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys!'

WorthPlaying
5 May 2008
  • Summary: Humans, succumbing to ray-guns, mind-control, and shiny flying saucers, have failed to defend their planet and let it fall easily into the clutches of the Big Brain and his army of Brain Thingys. The only hope left for mankind is three Teenage Zombies that have arisen from a graveyard disturbed in the invasion.

Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys! Review (DS)

WiiDS.co.uk
6 September 2008
  • Conclusion: The way Teenage Zombies plays you can tell its not made for the older gamer who has been playing Super Mario and Sonic for 15 years. Its made for the younger newer gamer who grew up on Sonic Advanced and a slur of movie tie-in platformers like Open Season and Ratatouille. It’s been released a little bit before it should have and if the team pushed a little harder and spent a little more time on it to fix a few issues like playing mini-games outside of the main story,...
  • Pros: Graphically appealing., Genuinely Funny writing., Interesting Idea….
  • Cons: .. That wasn’t pulled off well., Seriously? I cant attack while I jump?, Minigames are a letdown.

Teenage Zombies DS Review

DarkZero
11 April 2008
  • Excerpt: Zombies are usually relegated to one role in video games: The bad guys. Hardly surprising, they’re not the friendliest of characters. But when the world is being invaded by alien brains, who better to save the day than the brain hungry living dead? It’s not any old zombies that are saving the world though; this lot are a bunch of high school drop outs who’ve dropped out in the most terminal way possible.

Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys

Gamereactor
15 May 2008
  • Conclusion: Teenage Zombies har alt potensial i verden.
  • Pros: Kult design, bra humor
  • Cons: Lite variasjon, kjedelig i lengden

Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys

Gamereactor
9 May 2008
  • Conclusion: Jeg kigger lettere frustreret på min Nintendo DS' to blinkende skærme.
  • Pros: God humor. Sjove mellemsekvenser.
  • Cons: Dårligt banedesign. Kedelige opgaver. Ingen udfordring.
