Sushi Academy-Fun

  • Summary: I like the characters in this game, and the history of sushi is interesting and informative. I'm enjoying making the sushi, but have a hard time plucking the fish bones (guess my screen isn't sensitive enough), so I can never get a really good score. It's a fun game, and the master is tough!

pretty good...

  • Summary: I got this game because I am obsessed with sushi...the ingredients, making it, eating it, the culture, everything! What I liked about this game was how accurate it is as far as actual sushi preperation. You need to be precise and disciplined to make it in real life, and the game is fairly challenging as far as that goes. The graphics are very clear and sharp, the sound effects are cute, and the general gameplay is good. What i didn't like was the storyline..

Terrible Game!

polotab, Amazon

  • Summary: This game was such a disappointment! It is like the dumbed-down version of cooking mama. Super slow and boring. I was lost interest after the 2nd round. All the types of sushi are almost the same and if you make one mistake during your 'final exam' you have to start all over. I love cooking and restaurants games but would not recommend this for anyone.

So much fun and you can actually learn thing or two!

  • Summary: It's kind of Cooking Mama experience, but due to the matter - japanese kitchen - it's very fresh and entertaining. What I liked about the game was very good selection of sushi to make (and those are based on real-life recipes!). Graphics are simply great (they put Cooking Mama to shame) and the japanese voice-overs add very nicely to the feel of the game. Music could be more japan-style.

Great sushi cooking game !

  • Summary: Sushi Academy is a very interesting cooking game that fully concentrates on sushi preparation. This really helps the game - recipes presented are real and precise to the level you could actually try preparing your own dishes after playing the game. Speaking of it - dishes are varied, minigames fun and well balanced - to the point of being addictive. I also think it is more challenging that some other games I tried - especially exam mode.

  • Summary: Another recently bought game, love the graphics, am in training to make japanese sushi dishes from scratch, whilst practicing my sushi moves the training master is very strict and keeps failing me!!, (still looks edible), some very interesting recipes that make you think, how is it possible to get something looking like that (all is revealed). Similar to another game bought recently, which is just as goods, sushi go round.

Sushi Made Simple

Kristoph2..., Ciao
28 January 2012
  • Excerpt: My Nintendo DS has provided me with some decent games and one of those which has turned out to be more difficult then I first thought was the Sushi Academy. This is a game which is very similar to Cooking Mama for all those people who know this game. The idea is simple you need to make and prepare Sushi dishes and do them to the highest quality.
  • Pros: A game which can challenge you quite well
  • Cons: Some recipes appear the same in how they are prepared
