Super Mario 64 DS Nintendo DS Review
Reviewer: nintendospin.com18 October 2007- Overall 9

So, the big question is: should you buy it? If you can't get enough of Mario then go ahead and buy it right now. It offers more than what was found in the original and will last you for some time. Those who've never played the game should also get it as they're really missing on something. If you're tired of Mario 64 though then you might want to wait for the New Super Mario Bros as Mario DS is essentially the same game with a few added extras. They're good extras, bu... Read more

Admittedly, if Nintendo had simply ported the game from the Nintendo 64 and added nothing new, it would have a much tougher time standing on its own two feet today. But Nintendo has brilliantly changed and reworked a lot more of the game than you'd think at first, right down to the way its simple-but-charming "save-Peach-from-Bowser" story is told. In fact, in a rather surprising change, Mario isn't even the central hero anymore; right from the beginning, you play as ... Read more

'Super Mario 64 DS' really surprised me and it makes good use of all of the capabilities of the DS. Nintendo has reworked the classic N64 game and even added some new features.More levels, more power stars, playing the lead character as Yoshi is what you get plus wireless multiplayer, the game delivers a great experience for Nintendo's new handheld. If you got a DS, 'Super Mario 64 DS' ! Super Mario 64 DS
Reviewer: gaming-age.com03 March 2006Super Mario 64 DS is the full package. With 30 extra stars to collect, a few new levels thrown in, unique power-ups and characters, addictive mini-games, and even a multiplayer battle mode, the game truly delivers a great experience for Nintendos new handheld. I didnt have any major problems with the controls and the game is as wonderful to play now as it was back in 1996. Out of all the launch games, and Ive played them all, Super Mario 64 DS is the best one out t... Read more

Mario 64 DS is probably the most advanced game for the Nintendo DS at the moment and although it's a remake of the original Nintendo 64 game, there is still enough new content and changes to set this game apart from its predecessor. The first time I saw Mario 64 running on a Nintendo 64, I was quite simply amazed at lush and colourful graphics that not only had an amazing storyline but was also one of the most playable games of all time. Nearly n... Read more

When Are Kids Old Enough to Play Videogames?
...he played slowly. And guess what? I bought him the GameCube and the DS he has a long time ago. Is he playing GTA now? No! 'Cause GTA is not out for GameCube or DS. He's addicted to Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Super Mario 64 DS, and Mario Kart DS. Oh and he plays Spongebob Squarepants, and Ratatouille on the PSP. I didn't let him play those games anymore because I love him, and I care about him. No need to apologize, just think about what you'll say before saying it. And keep doing...
