Summary: - I am a 31 year of female. I bought this after reading so many positive reviews on Amazon and I was not disappointed. It is really fun to open a store and learn about the different clothing lines while piecing together appropriate outfits for customers based on their style and brand preferences. In addition to that, you can purchase makeup and hair styles to change up your look. This part of the game wasn't as fun for me.
Summary: I got this for my 11 year daughter and she was obsessed with it. She absolutely loved it, even though to me it seemed quite repetitive. I'm not sure how educational / like running a real store it is, but perhaps it gave her a small taste of the world of business. She is nearly 13 now and has moved on to an iPod touch, but I bet she would be happy to play it again if left with only her DS.
Summary: I got this as a Christmas gift for my eight year old daughter. She was very excited to recieve it and plays it often. The only downside is sometime it is difficult for her to actually clasp the necklace or bracelet on the screen when asked to. I think it might just be her stylus to her DS. Other than that, it is an excellent present.
Summary: Being 23 I'm not exactly the targeted age group for this game but I loved it none the less. I have had it since March and keep going back to it even after I have "finished" the game. Styles and prefences change by the season, so once you start getting tired with the short shorts of summer, its time to get out the sweaters and boots.
Summary: I really like this game you open your own boutique and you sell clothes, enter contests and wow! The downside was that after you earn everything and win all the contests you can really do much. I mean you could enter it again or something but how many times would somebody to this. Otherwise it rocks!!
Summary: I read several reviews on this game, because I wasn't sure whether to try it out or not. I am a 27 year old stay at home mom, and I love to play DS in my free time (which there isn't a whole lot of!). The cover never struck my fancy cause it just looked like another game for pre-teens/teens. But in my hunt for something new, I came across a lot of adults enjoying this game. So, they convinced me to give it a try.
Summary: I really like this game. I'm not much of a fashion person, but even I found this game to be easy & fun. The tutorial was pretty long, but it wasn't tedious or anything. In my opinion, it's essential in learning how the game works & what customers like/don't like. Overall, I'd say this is a game worth buying, but I don't know if I'll play it again once I've finished it.
Summary: I bought this game for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas, and after borrowing her game a few times, I now have my own DS and my own Style Savvy. My daughter and I play the game together, shop at each other's stores, and compare inventory. I'm not usually interested in video games, but this one's got me hooked! My only complaints: it's easy to rack up personal funds, but there's not much to spend it on - the hair salon and cosmetics are ridiculously limited.
