Summary: Hello I'm 7. I think it's a little tricky. If you try it, it might be a little tricky for you but it's still a good game Parent speaking: A little girl will like this more than Mario Brothers because of the characters but I do wish they made it a little easier. I have to help her sometimes. There aren't many girl-themed action games though so I do recommend it as something for them to learn with.
Summary: We bought this for our daughter and was quite surprised at the difficulty level. It is a bit challenging for her and she gets easily frustrated with it. Maybe this should be rated for older players, but being that it is Strawberry Shortcake, we assumed it would be appropriate for her. We are putting aside for now.
Summary: This is a very fun platform type video game. The graphics are very pretty and it is easy to control the character. It is easier than some of the platform type games but it is still challenging enough to be exciting to play. I think it's nice that you jump over or run under the hazards rather than killing them or breaking them to bits. I got this for my grandchildren but I enjoy playing it very much myself (I'm over 50).
Summary: A Strawberry Shortcake game i thought would be perfect for my five year old daughter, but this game is too hard for. Her dad and I try to help and we can only get so far also. One would think there would be something involving cake in this game, we have yet to get that far if at all there is anything involving cake. Anyone considering buying a DS system for a child who cannot yet read, I would advise against it.
Great Fun for Everyone Age 5/6 and Over Who Likes Pink!

Summary: Bought this game for my daughter age 6 as a birthday present. I had been seaching for a game which didn't need too much reading skill, but not so simple that she would get bored. Definately picked the right game! She loves it and can play with only the occasional bit of help. I enjoy playing it to - when she lets me! Very much a platform type game but lots of fun and variation.
Summary: We bought this game for my five year old daughter's Birthday and she hasn't stopped playing it since. It's great fun, so much so even I have got into playing it with her. The game has been particularly good too because there is hardly any reading required.
Summary: We bought this at Christmas and it has gone down a treat with the whole family. 7 year old picked it up brilliantly once we had worked out the bubble dilemma and 5 year old is brilliant at it even though she can't read a lot yet. We have completed it (Daddy needed to help us all with the parachute bit) and have started again to see if we can get more strawberries and beat third place. Thoroughly reccommend for girls.
