Summary: Parents need to know that Wizards of Waverly Place: Spellbound is the second DS game based upon the popular teen Disney Channel sitcom . It's about kids who learn to perform magic spells at a special wizard school, but who are taught how to use their magic responsibly. There are many points in the game, however, when Alex (the heroine) will have to skirt the rules in order to achieve her goals, which are usually noble ones.
Excerpt: Whether it be Disney’s Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, Cory in the House or Wizards of Waverly Place, Disney’s hit TV shows always manage to find their way onto Nintendo’s hand held machine. Unfortunately, Disney DS games based on the aforementioned shows have a tendency to disappoint more often than not. So when Wizards of Waverly Place: Spellbound for the DS arrived, I kept my expectations in check hoping Disney could buck the trend. How did Wizards fair out this time?
