Summary: This was the first game I had ever gotten for the DS Lite. It was a little hard to beat but as you go along through the game, you get the hang of it. This game features a style of gameplay that no other sonic game has. Its more of an RPG Adventure than a rushing adventure like the other sonic games were. But there are new enemies in this game and even some old. But the bad thing is that this game leaves you hanging at the end.
Summary: I had been wanting to play this game for a while, and I can say it is now one of my favorite Sonic games. But I will say it does have it's flaws. The background scenery for every environment is very well done, but I can't say the same for the music. It's pretty awful. I honestly wished the game had the option to turn the music off during gameplay, it's that bad (one level aside), Some of the sound effects are quite cheap, too.
Summary: Despite the campy quality of some of the graphics and music, "Sonic Chronicles" is an enjoyable gem of an RPG. To tell the truth, there are many reasons to not like this game. The 3-D cutscene animation is generic and shoddy. The world map music sounds like ancient 1980s Game Boy music. The sound cuts off and sometimes skips in certain sequences. There's not even enough rings on the map screen to pay for accessories and items.
A Good Chapter in the "Sonic Chronicles." (by Laura)

Summary: While you would think that the RPG format would slow down our favorite blue hedgehog, it really doesn't; sure, Sonic doesn't move as fast as he would normally, but the story and events still seem to take on the nice, swift pace everyone seems to love in his games. Still, if you're looking for levels to simply dash through, you have the wrong game; this game still plays a little more like an RPG than a traditional Sonic game.
Summary: I got this game on sale while CC was closing down and it was one of the few DS games that were still on the shelf. To be honest I don't think I would have gotten this game at full price since I'm not a very big sonic or even bioware fan but it's an RPG and I like those so at the price CC was selling why not?
Summary: When I ordered Sonic Chronicles I was expecting something very different. I love the conventional RPGs, mostly the turn-based ones. The ones where you level up, give good equipment to your characters, and expect the best when you enter battle. However with Sonic Chronicles the Dark Brotherhood you get something somewhat different but not so bad.
