Skate It

Skate It is a skateboarding video game developed by EA Montreal, Exient Entertainment and EA Black Box for the Nintendo DS. The game is an extreme sport single-player/multi-player/online multi-player game with an ESRB : E rating. Set in San Vanelona, the same fictional city as the original game, several mysterious disasters (identified as earthquakes in Skate 2) have caused widespread damage and a mass evacuation of the city, leaving the player free to skate alone and undisturbed. The players are able to travel to other cities in the world later in the game. The controls for Skate were redesigned to take advantage of the Nintendo DS version featuring the stylus and touchscreen control.

Features

The game allows players to skate against friends, own the leaderboards, and share created spots and challenges with Spot Share, through the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi connectivity. Players can pick a board and shred by using Stylus based Flickit Nintendo controls and make spots by moving objects like ramps, rails, and benches to fit their skating style. New skateable objects can be unlocked by winning challenges and then create a fantasy dream park. The game requires players to conquer the best San Vanelona spots and get sponsored by real skate companies. Then travel the world to skate, own, and customize iconic real-world locales.
