Sight Training: Enjoy Exercising and Relaxing Your Eyes

Excerpt: Brain Training (aka Brain Age in some parts of the world) was one of those games that came out of no where for me. I was aware of the title and its concept but I hadn't really followed it. When it hit shelves in 2006, it flew straight back off them, so of course I checked it out. Excerpt: Nintendo's Training games have successfully opened the Nintendo DS up to a whole new market. Brain Training, Maths Training and the other touch generations titles are budget priced 'games' that have been a huge hit for the Japanese company. After two Brain Training titles Nintendo has decided to focus on a new area of training, Sight Training , or Sight Training: Enjoy Exercising and Relaxing Your Eyes , which has just been released on the Nintendo DS.
Excerpt: What with the likes of Brain Training and Wii Sports assigning different ages to all of our various body parts, we're starting to feel a little bit like Dr Frankenstein's monster. Still, with all that squinting at computer screens slowly destroying our eye-sight, we're certainly game for a little retinal work-out. Conclusion: Just as you worked to reduce Brain Age in Brain Training, players test themselves to discover their Eye Age, and then go about a series of puzzle games and reaction challenges to reduce that figure. Some of the games are fun, some entertaining and some really quite hard. There's also a sports option - you can choose ping-pong, baseball and football themed challenges when the puzzles get too much.
