Good 1st game for younger gamers

Julie "mom of one", Amazon
2 January 2008
  • Summary: My daughter is 7 and has dyslexia therefore she isn't reading yet and can't enjoy a lot of the DS games because of it. The Ogres & Dronkeys is a game that doesn't require reading and is good to introduce kids to electronic games or for little girls that like babies. :-) You are the babysitter for the babies. You have to "teach" the babies how to do things and earn points. When the babies do something for the 1st time you get 1 point.

Graphics were just like the movie...

Graphic Novel / Manga Reader "ownstoomanybooks", Amazon
17 August 2007
  • Summary: Just so you know, I'm an adult gamer... The graphics for this game was just like the movie. The movements of the characters were cute, realistic & pretty good to control. There is a combination of stylus usage and the buttons. This makes the game little tricky. The buttons are used to move the characters, fight, jump etc. The stylus is used to select characters or whether you want the characters to go together or alone.

An average game, but a good buy if your kids like Shrek

lolly23, Dooyoo
4 September 2009
  • Excerpt: The game follows shrek, Artie and Puss in Boots as they head back to the castle of Far Far Away that the evil Prince Charming has taken over. Along the way they must collect golden faries for Merlin the wizard, as Donkey accidently used Merlin's wand and turned him into a parfait - what??? Anyway, Shrek, Artie and Puss in boots go through the levels together. You play all three of them, switching between them at the touch of the stylus. Each has their own special moves.

A. C. REISS "book crazy", amazon.co.uk
28 July 2009
  • Summary: Bought to entertain kids( 10 & 7) while on holiday. Kids thought it was quite challenging, but also fun. They like the way it gives you hints on the top screen, as otherwise they would be stuck ( according to kids!!).

Excellent game for anyone

tinkerbella21, Dooyoo
25 May 2008
  • Excerpt: Shrek the Third is quite a fun decent platform game. You control Shrek, Puss in Boots and the Prince which can get a little bit confusing but after a bit of playing time you soon get the hang of it. Each character has got its own unique skills which you need in order to complete each level. Each level offers new puzzles and obsticles which make game playing very interesting and addictive!

GOOD, BUT TOO SHORT?

Nelly, amazon.co.uk
14 July 2007
  • Summary: this game is really good fun, but it is quite easy to complete, its also only got 16 levels. I am a teenager and a fan of shrek and i love this game, i'd say its worth a buy, but could get boring.
