Persona! Wait.... Come King MegaTen.
5 November 2014
Summary: So in about November of 2013 i officially played my first MegaTen game in Persona 3 FES. I then fell in love with the Persona series, then they finally released Persona 4 on PSN earlier this year and Persona fever had hit. I found myself watching the Movies/Anime and even buying Persona 4 Arena and Ultimax. Then i realised that the Shin Megami Tensei series had more than just "Persona" and i wanted to try some of the other games, but had no idea where to start.
Summary: There aren't a lot of these type of strategy games on the 3ds, but trust me this one is good. Be warned though this game is challenging, and there are a few missions that will make you frustrated, such as protecting all civilians. If you liked Fire Emblem for the 3ds but wished there were more combat options this game is also for you. There are over 100 different types of attacks and spells to use keeping combat interesting.
Summary: The little unknown gem, will only pique the most dedicated of Shin Megami Tensei Fans. Very high on the dificulty scale, the plot and charecters of the story will tease you only to try harder.
Summary: i am in love with this game. always have been always will be. this new extended addition is even better. i'm amazed. and yet surprised you cant change the voiced form english to japanese. not like that makes the game bad. i was just assuming it would have that option.
Summary: I love the Shin Megami Tensei series. This is one of my favorites out of the series. It's a strategy RPG in which the world is ending and demons are crossing into our world via portals and creating chaos. Using special devices (that look like nintendo DS systems. We see what you did there :p) when you defeat demons you can have them come and fight on your side to help save the world.
Summary: So if you read above, you know I am biased towards this game Pros: > Greater than the original game for the Nintendo DS. > Voice acted the entire game: literally every part that needed voicing has it. > Touch controls are enabled for the second screen at SOME parts. (This is a pro because the original did not) > Voice overs CAN be disabled. > Plenty of replaying potential and many different ways to build your character's fight style. > Loads of demons.
Summary: I LOVE this game, but rated it 4 because I expected more of the 3d version. Sure, we have the 8th day and new demons which is very cool and all, but I was hoping for something more...hmmm...3D.
