Summary: I just wrote a scathing review of JewelQuest/Mysterville on how much I disliked them cuz they are timed games with no option for relaxed mode. Same goes for this one too. One other thing I don't like about this one is the circle about the room, and top to bottom. It is another one that will stay in its' box. Now mind you, I have received these games today. Never even got out of the first room. Hate all three of the games and feel I wasted my $27+ dollars...........
Summary: I preordered this game. I love mystery/puzzle games for the DS and Sherlock Holmes? How could you go wrong? I got as far as the library and ended up trading in the game. Major disappointment! The graphics are awful and it's hard to maneuver around the scenes with the stylus. Also, there's not much of a storyline, and I forgot why I was collecting clues in the first place. Some other people have commented that the voiceover narration didn't match the onscreen subtitles.
Summary: I was looking forward to this game as I love mystery/puzzle games. However, I was very VERY disappointed. The settings are far too sensitive and when you try to scroll the image upward only slightly it shoots up. When you try to gently scroll back down, it shoots to the floor. Very aggravating. Also the various sayings and quotes Sherlock Holmes utters have nothing to do with the game and you are left wondering what you are supposed to be doing.
Summary: I had such high hopes for this game, and pre-ordered it before it was available for purchase. After weeks of looking forward to receiving the game, I finally got it and popped it in the ds. After about 10 minutes, my disappointment began to set in. I wander aimlessly around the rooms, clicking here and there. I have only found 2 "puzzles" so far. Arranging the symbols on the door - can that really be considered a "puzzle"? Rearranging the library books - not a puzzle!
